Aims
buyatankard.com is an online only hip flask retailer, and operates in this way to minimise operating costs and reduce its overall environmental impact. We work directly with a number of manufacturers to bring products from production to customer in as few steps as possible. Most of our products are shipped directly from the people that make them, to the people that use them with no steps in-between.
Strategy
We aim to offer a wide range of products across different styles and budgets from different manufacturers. By operating in this way, we are able to offer an unbiased opinion on any product that we sell and how it compares to others in the market.
Remote selling can create a number of challenges, so we try to make the process as simple as possible by offering:
- good customer service
- as much information as possible on products and sizing prior to purchase
- fast shipping via a choice of methods at cost price
- easy exchanges/returns after purchase
Values
Fundamentally, we believe that by providing good value products, at competitive prices and by offering honest and reliable customer service, our customers will be happy.
We like happy customers!
Value For Money
All products have a value, and value is the how well a product or service can fulfil its indented purpose when its associated costs and benefits are taken into account.
Example: A car that costs twice as much but never breaks down, is better value than a car that costs less, but breaks down at every corner. It's more expensive to buy, but its better value in the long-run.
Don’t be put off by our low prices, we do not sell anything that does not pass our stringent quality standards (if we wouldn’t wear it – we don’t see why you would!). If it’s not expensive, it doesn’t mean it’s cheap! You can always find something cheaper, but you can't always find something that's better value for money.
